QUR-102: Word for Word, The Great Surahs
An In-Depth Study of Surah Ar-Rahman,
Surah Al-Waqiah, and Surah Al-Mulk
Strengthen your connection with the Quran through this Word-for-Word Translation course, focusing on the oft recited surahs, Surah Rahman, Surah Waqi'ah, and Surah Mulk. Students will strengthen their comprehension by identifying key vocabulary, exploring refined and nuanced translations, and understanding overarching themes. Each passage will be accompanied by concise commentary to provide deeper insight along with a word for word guided translation to build comprehension skills. The goal is to cultivate a meaningful relationship with the Quran—one that is both practical and transformative.

Ustadha Fatima Lette
Ustadha Fatima Lette is an instructor at Qalam- both at the Academy, the Seminary, and at Qalam's intensives. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Psychology. She went on to graduate from the ‘Alimiyyah program at the Qalam Seminary. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, she continues to serve her community as a teacher at the Roswell Community Masjid. She is also a teacher at the Roots Community Space.
Ustadha Ayesha Baig
Ustadha Ayesha Baig is a graduate of Qalam’s Alimiyyah program and currently serves as an instructor at the Qalam Academy. She is also a graduate of the Taleem AlQuran program at AlHuda Institute. She has taught various classes across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. She is passionate about educating women and building community grounded in the Qur'an.
